In this engaging application, users are invited to test and improve their photographic memory by attempting to keep pace with Ayumu, a chimpanzee renowned for his remarkable cognitive abilities. This innovative memory challenge prompts participants to memorize the positions of several numbers within an extremely limited timeframe.

Ayumu has demonstrated exceptional prowess in completing this task, successfully recalling numbers after only 210 milliseconds of exposure. In contrast, human participants often struggle to replicate his performance. This begs the question: How well can you perform when faced with similar challenges?

The Lite version of the Ape Test serves as an introductory experience, offering a simpler mode where users can start with memorizing five or seven numbers presented briefly. Additionally, there is an option to hide five numbers after a 650-millisecond delay. The full version expands these options, featuring settings that allow combinations of five, seven, and nine numbers with even shorter time periods reminiscent of the original experiments.

Users can monitor their progress through various statistics, although it should be noted that the Lite version does not retain this data. The application draws its inspiration from actual studies conducted with chimpanzees in Japan back in 2007.
